“A photograph can capture those brief glimpses of childhood so much more effectively than I can with words. However, sometimes it takes a professional to reveal and uncover my children’s world just a little bit more. These shots were beautifully shot by lannie. I love these photos because it shows me as part of their world, something that I could never accomplish with my own photos (nor can Johnny with his own loveable, photographic incompetence.
These were taken on a typical Saturday afternoon spent at home. It was not a special day. There was no special background. And we were up to nothing at all. This is our world, and I am completely happy in it.
